Manor House

Set in a beautiful valley, The Manor House has magical views of the majestic Langeberg mountain range and rolling green pastures. It enjoys both spectacular sunrises and sunsets with long days of sunshine throughout the year.  Stroll down to the river frontage and picnic under giant stink wood trees. Venture across the river into the indigenous forest where small buck and the shy cape otter may be spotted and follow the mountain trail to stunning waterfalls and mountain pools. Walk down to the natural spring lake and spend the day bird watching, swimming and canoeing. On your return sit on your private patio and enjoy the magnificent view as the last of the sun’s rays bounce of the mountain, lighting it up in an unbelievable brilliant green.

The luxurious Manor House has 6 bedrooms, it sleeps a maximum of 8 adults in 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms set up for adults with queen sized beds. Please note the 5th bedroom (downstairs) is furnished with 2 singles and only suitable for children, and the 6th bedroom (upstairs) is a dorm room with 6 singles in it (not near any of the bathrooms), only suitable for children. With children, the Manor can sleep 8 adults and 8 kids at maximum capacity.

It has a sumptuous kitchen fully equipped, a beautiful dining room and separate comfortable living room with amazing views and a spacious all-weather veranda with a built in braai, perfect for outdoor dining and entertainment.

The Manor House is lovingly furnished with genuine antiques creating an authentic and relaxed farmhouse atmosphere. There is a large indoor wood stove in the lounge . All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, 1 complimentary bag of firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.

In addition, Manor House has a lovely outside wood-fired hot-tub from which guests can soak up the magnificent views. Uncapped 2bpms WiFi is available at Manor House – suitable for emails, online banking or surfing the Net – please note it is not suitable for movie streaming or Zoom meetings.
